Q. How do I obtain a hard copy of the documents?
A. Contact the number provided to you with your Solicitor Instructions. TD Bank Financial Group will provide you with a complete set of documentation.
 
Q. Can I make changes to any of the documents other than the fields provided?
A. No changes can be made to the fixed content of the documents.
 
Q. How do I increase the font size of the documents for easier viewing?
A. To increase magnification, do one of the following:
  • Select the zoom in tool, and click the page.
  • Select the zoom in tool, and drag to draw a rectangle around the area to magnify.
  • Click the Zoom In button in the viewing toolbar, and click the page.

    Q. Who do I contact about questions on the mortgage document or the mortgage transaction?
    A. Refer to the Solicitor Instructions which you received and contact the individual indicated on those instructions.
     
    Q. How do I search for a French form by Form Name?
    A. French forms are listed by their French titles. Search words containing accents can be typed with or without the accents and the resulting list will contain the forms with those words in the title.
     
    Q. What is a category?
    A. Individual mortgage documents have been packaged into complete sets and assigned to a category. For simplification, the categories have been set up as individual provinces. When you select a province(s) in the category drop down menu, you will be presented with a list of packages by type of mortgage available within the province(s) of choice. If required, you will be able to select more than one category at the same time.
     
    Q. How do I save documents I have completed to my PC?
    A. You must use Adobe® Acrobat® Approval or Adobe® Acrobat® software to save forms and retain customer data you have added to the form fields http://www.adobe.com/store/main.jhtml.
     
    Q. When I click on the PDF icon, Adobe® Reader® launches. I want to use Adobe® Acrobat® Approval.
    A. We suggest that you open your Adobe® Acrobat® Approval application prior to launching a PDF. If the problem persists, check your Solicitor Instructions or visit the Adobe website at

    Q. Why is information I had previously typed in the fields showing in the fields again after I download the form a second time? Why are they not blank?
    A. Once your first usage and print of the form is complete, prior to using the form for subsequent filling of fields and printing, please use the "Clear" button to reset all fields. The "Clear" button is found on the first page of forms supporting fields.
     
    Q. When I try to print a document, I get an error message indicating that one or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page. What do I do?
    A. Try choosing the "shrink to fit" option in the printer dialogue box prior to sending the file to your print queue. This option will allow you to decrease the size of the image slightly. Do not attempt to print a document in any other size than indicated on the form details page. Do not use this option as a default setting.
     
    Q. Have these documents been approved by the provincial regulatory body?
    A. Yes. For example, the Ontario Land Registry office has advised their offices and provided them with sample forms.
     
    Q. What browsers do you support?
    A. We have optimized our service to work with browsers that the majority of our clients use. They are as follows:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 4.01 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher
  • Netscape Navigator version 4.06 or higher
  • *Beta browsers are not supported
  • Operating System:
    You must have a 32-bit operating system - Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME; MAC 7.5 and higher; Linux 2.2.

    Note: Windows 2000 operates with Netscape 4.7 or higher browsers and Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher.

     
    Q. What should I do with my old supply of TD forms or electronic forms?
    A. Destroy them or discontinue use. By using this site, you will be using only the most recent version of each of the documents.
